Dr. Nicole is a 2010 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the St. Francis Veterinary Clinic team in January 2011. Her professional interests include critical care, internal medicine, and feline medicine. Shortly after joining the team, she helped start Tuff Start Rescue, an animal rescue aimed at helping pets in urgent need (abandoned or injured strays, feral cats, and owner surrenders). The rescue has continued to help hundreds of dogs and cats find loving, forever homes. Dr. Nicole also co-hosts a radio show called Pet Connections twice monthly. Clients can tune in on Sunday mornings from eleven to noon on station AM 950.
During her free time, Dr. Nicole enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and managing the rescue. She shares her home in New Richmond, Wisconsin with her husband, Grant, nine spoiled cats (Petey, Nova, Biscuit, Ace, Cecilia, Jerry, Hercules, Sheldon, and Donny), two beloved senior dogs (Millie and Bonnie), and a continuous revolving door of foster animals.
